The former Bishop of the Isle of Man has resigned from his post at St Paul’s Cathedral after weeks of anti-capitalist protests.
Graeme Knowles said he felt his position has become ‘untenable’ following the closure of the cathedral for several days because of the disturbance caused by the protests.
The campers have been ordered to clear the site over the next 48 hours or face legal action, however they’re still allowed to continue with their protest.
Mr Knowles served as Bishop and Sodor of Mann from 2003 till 2007.
