The Isle of Man FA has agreed to postpone Peel AFC’s matches this weekend in memory of a player who recently died in a car accident.
Team Captain Kian Broadhead was killed in a crash at Devil’s Elbow on the Peel to Kirk Michael coast road on Sunday, September 14.
The Peel football club said the 25-year-old played his last game on the Saturday afternoon, leading his side to victory over the Corinthians team.
A police investigation into the crash is still ongoing, with officers appealing for anyone with information to get in touch with them.
