Could Flybe make a return to the Isle of Man?
The airline collapsed last March, endings its flights to Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool from Ronaldsway airport.
But it’s now planning to relaunch in summer after its business and assets were bought by a new company, backed by Cyrus Capital, earlier today.
A spokesman for the new company said it would serve many of the former routes, however the Civil Aviation Authority has revoked its operating licence – prompting an appeal to the UK transport secretary, which is yet to be heard.
