Last year saw a rise of almost 11 per cent in the amounts of fixed penalty notices paid via the General Registry.
The figures in the registry's annual report show in 2022, £641,073 was paid for things like parking tickets.
However, last year that figure had risen to £790,671 - a rise of 10.7 per cent.
The General Registry collects the money on behalf of other government departments.
