Government figures show fixed penalty notices almost halved during the pandemic - because there was no TT festival.
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson asked a question for written reply to Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson about fines and fixed penalties imposed for offences such as speeding.
During Covid in 2020 and 2021, around 350 were issued each year, raising between £42,000 and £44,000.
But since 2022, that figure has remained at more than £80,000 - In his response, Dr Allinson said that difference was because the TT had resumed.
