A Peel fisherman who denies smuggling cannabis to the Island has been committed to stand trial in the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
32 year old David Alexander Tweedy of Kerroo Coar is accused of bringing 244 grams of the drug worth £4,882 to the island on a boat from the UK on May 15 last year.
He was bailed to appear in the higher court on a date to be set.
Bail continues.
