First Island town centre manager

The Isle of Man has it\'s first town centre manager.

The Isle of Man has it's first town centre manager.

Gill Anderson is taking on the role in Douglas which helps towns to realise their potential for business, investment and leisure.

In the UK the town centre manager movement is already widespread.

Gill will work with local shops, businesses and community groups to co-ordinate events and activities with the aim to attract more visitors and investors to Douglas.

Her role also includes making sure the town centre is presented to a high standard.
