Emergency services spent nearly an hour yesterday tackling a dishwasher that caught fire.
At approximately 3.30pm Firefighters responded to reports of a kitchen fire at a property in Port St Mary.
Using a hose-reel, firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and ventilate the property.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
