The fire service was called into action after an incident at a property in Baldrine earlier this week.
Douglas and Laxey crews responded to reports of smoke on Highfield Drive at 8:15am on Wednesday, June 27.
When they arrived on the scene teams discovered smoke billowing from a garage attached to the property.
They established the cause was a faulty central heating boiler, the electrical supply to the appliance was stopped and the smoke then cleared from the building.
