A firefighter who has served with Douglas Fire Station for nearly 25 years is hanging up his boots.
The Fire and Rescue Service bid farewell yesterday to Martin Corlett after 24 years of him being with the service.
It says it's the first time in over 60 years that a member of the Corlett family is not represented within the service.
Crews extended a heartfelt thanks to Martin for his commitment and contribution to the Fire & Rescue Service and wished him all the best for the future.
