The Fire and Rescue Service has received a new rescue appliance.
The 42 metre turn table ladder on the truck is ten metres higher than their previous one, assisting with high-reach rescues.
Government says this will future proof the fire service as we see bigger and higher buildings on the Island.
The appliance will be based in Douglas but cover the whole Island, with crews spending the next few months training.
