Fire service issue Sky Lantern warning

There have recently been incidents in the UK of children getting burnt by faulty lanterns and property catching fire.

A warning's been issued from the Office of Fair Trading about the use of Chinese Sky Lanterns.

They're made of paper and powered by a solid fuel burner and have become very popular at events such as weddings and birthdays.

With this in mind the Island's fire and coastguard services are urging people to avoid using them.
