Supersport racers will get time credits after a fire in the pit lanes during the race.
Grant Wagstaff’s Yamaha machine caught fire during his pit stop – falling over towards the fuel canisters.
It led to a red flag being displayed and the pit lane being closed off to at least 10 riders.
Wagstaff was treated by paramedics – the waiting bikes were let into the pits once the fire was extinguished.
The race is on-going.
