Firefighters were called to a blaze at a recycling centre in Tromode yesterday.
Two pumps attended the property just after 2.30pm - the fire was contained in an industrial bailer.
Operators had tried to extinguish it but it had spread deep into the recycled material and the large unit had become heavily smoke logged.
No structural damage was caused to the building.
