Kirk Michael fire crews were called out this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Service says it was called out in the early hours to a property off Main Road in Ballaugh.
Firefighters put out a fire and cleared smoke coming from the kitchen.
The cause is thought to be an electric fan heater which had fallen over or was too close to fixtures and fittings.
