A man who was more than nine times over the cocaine driving limit has been fined.
Shaun Robert Milligan, whose address was given as the Isle of Man Prison, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 47 year old admitted drug driving at the Sea Terminal in Douglas on May 15 last year.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the hearing police stopped his grey Mazda as he drove off the boat, and a drug test proved positive for cocaine.
A blood test later gave a result of 468 – the legal limit is 50.
As well as banning him from the roads for two years, Mrs Braidwood fined him £1,000 and ordered him to pay £125 costs immediately or face 60 days in jail.
