A Castletown woman has been fined £250 after being caught using her mobile phone whilst driving.
Police spotted 42-year-old Joanne Dawn Barsby, of Scarlett Close, holding the phone as they drove past her on May 10 th .
At Douglas Courthouse last week Barsby admitted the offence via Coroner’s Admission.
Magistrates also endorsed her driving licence with four penalty points and ordered her to pay prosecution costs of £50.
