A teenager from Peel has been fined after getting 'carried away' at a concert during the TT Festival.
17-year-old Jakob Michael Hewer, of Mona Street, made a nuisance of himself during the Scouting for Girls gig at the Hooded Ram beer tent on May 30th.
At Douglas Courthouse earlier this week he admitted being drunk and disorderly.
Police spotted Hewer bumping into other patrons, and shouting and swearing at people, just before 9.30pm.
Hewer, who was said to be 'extremely intoxicated', had been asked to leave by security but hadn't done so - he then became abusive towards the officers and was arrested.
His advocate said he was 'ashamed and apologetic' adding: "He'd become completely carried away by the atmosphere."
Magistrates fined him £275 and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £50 telling Hewer: "Let's not see you here again."
