Financial support for residents and businesses has been extended as a result of the Island's lockdown being lengthened.
It was announced yesterday the circuit-break will now run until at least 12.01am on Wednesday, March 31, and government has now confirmed financial support packages are being extended to reflect it.
As a result, the Manx Earnings Replacement Allowance (MERA) has been extended by one week whilst the Salary Support Scheme will increase, subject to Tynwald approval, with a payment of up to £310 per full time employee.
Meanwhile, The Coronavirus Business Support Scheme is also under review and a further announcement on this will be made in due course.
