The Treasury Minister says a new tax deal with the UK was viewed positively at a gathering of world finance ministers in Washington DC.
Last week Eddie Teare attended meetings of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and the Commonwealth Finance Ministers.Focus was on international efforts to stimulate economic growth, create new jobs and end poverty.
It was at the summit that UK Chancellor George Osborne announced the Isle of Man had become the first British dependency to sign a FATCA deal with the UK.
