The managers of the Island's Family Library are urging people to help try to save it - after it announced yesterday it would close this summer.
Directors of the facility on Westmoreland Road said they faced a £100,000 a year funding shortfall, making the charity untenable.
On their website, they're asking people to contact their MHK and spread the word on social media.
They say they're hopeful a solution could be found before the library shutters its services on Thursday, July 31.
