Fifth Gear Filming On The Mountain Road Today

David Coulthard On Island Testing New Merc

Part of the Mountain Road has been closed off today as some of the racing driving worlds biggest stars are filming on it.

Merecndez Benz are doing a film with David Coulthard in 3D. He has been taking to the Mountain Road today to promote some of the worlds fastest cars.

TV programme Fifth Gear are also getting content for an espisode of the popular racing programme.

Racing driver and Fifth Gear host Tiff Needell has been testing the new Mercedes Benz SLS.

He's been telling 3FM what an exciting day they have been having, and how he has a new found admiration for the TT riders who speed around the course at almost 200MPH. (audio above)
