The government conference has heard the number of cancelled and delayed flights at Ronaldsway airport has fallen this year.
Airport director Gary Cobb addressed the event at the Comis Hotel in Santon earlier today.
He told the audience the airport was still short of air traffic control staff.
But he said compared to last year, there have been fewer delayed or cancelled flights, as well as better on-time performance.
