The number of people getting the ferry to the Island has risen by more than 12% compared to last year.
In its August harbour traffic figures, the Department of Infrastructure says 55,735 people arrive at the Sea Terminal over the course of the month.
That compares to just 49,530 last year.
The statistics also show the number of boats using Douglas harbour more than doubled from 646 last August to 1,380 this year.
