Onchan commissioners say there'll be no more drift car racing events at Onchan Raceway after noise levels breached a tenancy agreement.
At the local authority's last meeting, the board heard nearby residents had lodged complaints about noise at a drift event held there in June.
As a result, Onchan Raceway - whose lease is up for renewal in November - was in breach of its agreement with the commissioners over permitted use of the stadium.
The local authority has written to the company saying no more drift car events can be held there, and a report about the tenancy agreement will be considered before November.
