An online fundraiser for a Southern 100 rider who was badly injured during this year's festival has blasted past its target.
27 year old Anthony O'Carroll from Ballyduff was airlifted to Liverpool after his crash.
A GoFundMe page was set up to help his family with travelling and accommodation costs on Merseyside.
His parents Mary and Neilus say they're "truly overwhelmed" by people's generosity and thoughtfulness after the page raised €46,440 - well over its €30,000 goal.
