Extra trains as fourth weekend bus strike starts

The Manx Electric Railway and Steam Railway will both run extra services today as a fourth weekend strike by bus drivers gets underway.

Unite the Union members are walking out in an ongoing dispute with the Department of Infrastructure over contracts and pay.

Today, Bus Vannin says it plans to run 42 services - with the last bus of the day leaving Port st Mary for Douglas at 8.20pm.
