The Southern 100 could get two extra sessions next year, if a road closure order is approved.
Organisers have unveiled a new proposed schedule for next year's event on the Billown Circuit.
It features a Monday afternoon practice from 1.45pm to 4pm, as well as a contingency practice on Wednesday between 1.15 and 3.15pm.
The club says the two sessions will help ease pressure in the event of bad weather.
