A weather warning for heavy rain remains in place until this evening.
The yellow warning - which came into force on Monday nwas extended yesterday until 9pm tonight.
The Island's Met Office says up to 40mm could be expected over higher ground across the Island, with heavy downpours only slowly clearing later today.
Meanwhile, forecasters say sleet and snow may also fall - and say a warning regarding snow will be issued if needed.
