This year's interim census will see people complete it online at the end of April.
The Cabinet Office will spend £400,000 on the compulsory data-gathering survey, which takes place on Sunday, April 26.
Households will get letters containing 10-digit access codes for the online survey about demographics, residency and employment.
The last full census was in 2021, and government says it needs a comprehensive and reliable view of the Island's population to plan services, policies, and funding.
