A new exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Tynwald Millenium goes on display from next week.
In 1979 Tynwald became 1,000 years old and remains the oldest continuous parliament in the world.
The exhibition will cover key moments from that year, including Queen Elizabeth II presiding over Tynwald Day and the sailing of Odin's Raven from Trondheim to Peel to celebrating the Islands Viking heritage.
It'll be open from Monday, July 1, to Thursday, July 5, at the Tynwald Library from 9am to 5pm each day and is free to visit.
