Excitement growing ahead of epic final

Excitement and nerves are already building ahead of the most important football match ever seen in the Isle of Man.

This weekend will see Kevin Manning’s men take on archrivals Jersey in the final of the Inter-League Cup.

It’s already been an unforgettable campaign for the Manx who have produced some heroic comebacks en route to the final, which will take place at the Bowl on Saturday afternoon.

A crowd of more than 3,000 is expected in the capital for the 3pm kick-off. This would be a new record attendance for both the Isle of Man and any match ever played in the competition.

Earlier, we caught up with IoMFA’s chief executive Frank Stennett (see audio).
