Sailings tonight and early tomorrow morning are now in doubt due to the poor weather conditions.
The Steam Packet Company says due to a rapid deterioration in the forecast the 8pm crossing to Heysham and it's 2.15am return tomorrow morning are subject to delays or cancellation.
It comes after the morning sailing to Birkenhead and it's return to the Island this afternoon were called off yesterday.
A final decision on tonight's schedule is expected by 5pm.
