The Mountain Road will be closed in the evenings next week while hedge and verge cutting takes place.
The Department of Infrastructure says the road between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg ny Baa will be shut from 6:30-10:30pm from Monday to Friday.
The work is being done in the evening to mitigate the impact on commuter traffic and the cafes at the Bungalow and Snaefell.
Verge maintenance is done annually to ensure the summer growth doesn’t obstruct the carriageway or safety markers.
