The Enterprise Minister is encouraging people to spend money all over the Island during TT, not just Douglas.
It comes as Tim Johnston was asked in Tynwald why live music has been stopped at the TT Fan Park after 9pm.
The decision was made following discussions with Douglas Borough Council, but there will still be acoustic music throughout the day and nightly DJ sets.
Mr Johnston added it's important to balance other factors, such as the broader hospitality sector in the Island's towns and villages that could benefit from extra footfall.
Local businesses will be arranging a wide range of entertainment in the evenings, with visitors and residents encouraged to also spend time outside of Douglas.
