Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says it's not true there's too little rubbish to operate the Island's incinerator.
He faced a question for written answer from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about the Braddan energy-from-waste plant.
Mr Moorhouse wanted to know how many days it had been unable to operate because there wasn't enough rubbish, as well as what happens if it has to be restarted.
Mr Crookall said in the last 12 months the plant hadn't run out of waste to burn.
