Some students at Ballakermeen High School will miss the last two days of term due to staff absences.
The school was struggling with staff numbers at the end of last week, with Headteacher Adrienne Burnett issuing a letter warning Years 10-13 may have to work at home.
The school said staffing issues have lessened slightly, meaning Year 10 will remain in school for the whole week.
However Years 11, 12 and 13 have been asked to stay home on Thursday and Friday this week - the last two days of term before the Christmas holidays.
