Upto 70 Emergency Service Crew To Take Part in Training Excercise This Weekend
A major search and rescue training exercise will be taking place tomorrow morning near to the Mountain Road.
Operation Theseus will commence at 10am near to windy corner, the scenario involves a search for persons believed to be missing from a vehicle involved in a road traffic collision.
The exercise, which has been coordinated by the Police Force, will involve between 60 and 70 people from all of the Island’s emergency services.
Members of the public are urged not to be alarmed if they see it happening, as it is only a training exercise.
It’s due to be concluded around 3PM.
