The police complaints commissioner says 60 per cent of complaints against officers over the last year were wholly unsubstantiated.
Michelle Norman has published her annual report for the last 12 months.
In it, she says she dealt with 15 complaints in total - about topics such as use of force or discreditable conduct.
Five were partially upheld, one was withdrawn and the remaining nine were disproven.
