Firefighters are warning the public again not to burn off items after being mobilised to an incident in the early hours of this morning.
Teams were called to Schollag Road to a grass fire - the fire service says, thanks to the quick actions of crews at the scene, it was contained to a small area and extinguished.
However, the organisation adds the situation could've been much worse as the wind could've carried the flames towards nearby fields and trees.
At the weekend, the government issued a message to all residents to not light bonfires and not burn domestic waste during the COVID-19 pandemic.
