Emergency Services have had a busy day so far - dealing with two incidents in just under two hours.
Just before 11am firefighters were called to a property fire at Victoria Gardens in Douglas.
Crews used an Aerial Ladder to free the casualty from a 2nd floor window - injuries sustained are not thought to be serious.
Then, just before 12.30pm teams responded to reports of a boiler fire in Bride - crews entered the property wearing breathing apparatus and discovered the boiler was faulty.
They isolated the power, checked the area with a thermal imaging camera and confirmed it wasn't a fire.
