Emergency Services were called out last night to a vehicle fire at the Pokerstars Rally.
At around 7.30pm crews responded to reports on the Old Castletown Road in Ballasalla.
A rally car had gone off the road and landed in a field at the end of the Keristal stage, prior to the Blackboards.
Members of Hogg Rescue on scene, which were attending to the driver and co-driver, requested assistance from the Fire Service to extinguish the vehicle fire which was now well alight.
Both occupants of the vehicle had been able to self-rescue before the fire took hold.
Crews used high pressure hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.
