The Chief Minister has revealed he will chair an elite committee of ministers who focus solely on the economic development in the private sector.
Earlier this week Allan Bell announced that the public sector wage bill would be slashed by 10 per cent over the next couple of years as Government continues to re balance its budget.
However, alongside Economic Development Minister John Shimmin and Treasury's Eddie Teare, he will tackle major investment within the private sector which he hopes will offset inevitable Government job losses.
Speaking at a press conference, Mr Bell said the Isle of Man economic health was his top priority.
