Electricity prices on the Island are rising.
From April 1st there will be a 2.5 per cent jump in tarrifs.
The ‘prompt payment discount’ will also be reduced from 2.5 per cent to 2 per cent.
This represents a rise in total of 3 per cent.
The MEA says for the average domestic customer this accounts to a rise of just over £21.
