
Homes and Business on the Island will have to dig deeper into their bank balance for electricity from today.
The 16.23 percent hike was announced by the Manx Electricity Authority last month.
It comes into effect from today – making bills more expensive.
It comes a month after Gas bills also went up on the Island by 22%.
