An Island electric vehicle owner and blogger has welcomed government plans to give incentives to people buying low-emission motors.
Dan Brooks, who runs the EV IOM blog, says moves to ban new petrol and diesel vehicles from 2040 means moves have to be made to persuade people to give up fossil fuels.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer has revealed he'll consult soon on proposals to incentivise electric vehicle purchases.
