A local car salesroom has opened a vehicle charging point near Douglas.
It is situated at Jacksons and Motor Mall and has eight high-speed, low-cost charging points, said the company.
The new facility comes at a good time to help the Isle of Man to prepare for the planned ban on new petrol and diesel cars in 2030.
In the UK campaigners are calling for more electric charging points to meet demand.
The Isle of Man company said the centre will be open 24-hours a day and the team will be on-site during working hours for help and advice.
A spokesman added that there has been huge interest in and demand for electric vehicles with all major manufacturers now committing to electric.
