Just under 13,000 "registered electors" have been removed from the voting register.
In October last year there 59,703 people registered to vote - a figure that now stands at 47,000.
New forms were sent out to Manx residents at the start of the year - the results from which contributed to the first major system update in nine years.
It's part of efforts to tackle inaccurate figures from old information.
