Elective surgery is to resume at Noble’s Hospital - following a temporary pause in October due to staffing shortages.
Over the last six weeks, urgent, emergency and trauma surgery has been maintained, alongside the delivery of cancer surgery.
However, from next Monday (December 6) an additional theatre will open for the delivery of some day-case procedures.
This will ensure the 'typical level' of elective surgery is delivered at Noble’s across the winter period.
