An elderly person was treated for severe burns after a house fire at the weekend.
It happened in the Onchan area just before 10am on Saturday morning - with police, firefighters and paramedics all in attendance.
The person was removed from their property, before being transferred to Noble's Hospital.
The fire service is reminding members of the public to have working smoke detectors as they can save lives.
